Yes—the Lockin Veno Pro Audio Settings menu lets you adjust lock prompt volume, doorbell volume, incorrect-entry alarm volume, and door-ajar alarm behavior, plus change the lock's spoken language. Safety warnings such as the low-battery alert and motor-jam tone are pre-configured and are not separately adjustable.
Here is what you can control, where to find each setting, and which alerts the current Veno Pro manual treats as separate built-in functions. Because app labels and firmware can change, confirm the behavior on your lock after saving a setting.
What the Audio Settings menu covers
These smart lock volume settings are model-specific controls for the Lockin Veno Pro. The exact labels can change with the app or firmware version, so use the current screen as the final reference.
Open the Lockin Smart app, select your Veno Pro lock, and go to Settings → Audio Settings. The menu groups these controls:
| Setting | What you can adjust | Options |
|---|---|---|
| Lock volume | Prompt and confirmation beeps during unlock, lock, and keypad input | App-controlled level |
| Incorrect entry alarm volume | Sound when a wrong PIN, fingerprint, or palm scan is attempted | App-controlled level |
| Door ajar alarm volume | Warning when the door is left open beyond the delay | Mute, Low, Medium, High |
| Door ajar activation delay | How long the door stays open before the alarm triggers | 10s, 20s, 30s, 60s |
| Door ajar alarm duration | How long the alarm sounds once triggered | 3s, 5s, 10s |
| Doorbell volume | Ringtone loudness when someone presses the doorbell button | App-controlled level |
| Lock language | Spoken voice prompts the lock uses | Selectable from available languages |
The Audio Settings function manages all sound-related settings of the lock, including lock volume, incorrect entry alarm volume, door ajar alarm (volume, duration, and delay), doorbell volume, and lock language.
How to adjust each setting
Lock prompt volume
The lock confirmation beeps—the short sound you hear when a palm scan, fingerprint, or PIN succeeds, or when you press the lock button—are controlled by the lock volume setting. Reduce this if you want quieter everyday operation.
Path: Lockin Smart App → Devices → Select your Veno Pro → Settings → Audio Settings → Lock volume
Doorbell volume
When a visitor presses the doorbell button on the exterior assembly, the lock plays a ringtone. Adjust the doorbell volume independently of the lock prompts so you can keep the doorbell audible while quieting routine lock sounds.
Path: Lockin Smart App → Devices → Select your Veno Pro → Settings → Audio Settings → Doorbell volume
Door-ajar alarm
The door-ajar alarm is designed to alert you when the door has been left open. You can adjust three things:
- Volume — set to Mute, Low, Medium, or High.
- Activation delay — choose how many seconds (10, 20, 30, or 60) the door must stay open before the alarm sounds.
- Duration — choose how long (3, 5, or 10 seconds) the alarm sustains.
Path: Lockin Smart App → Devices → Select your Veno Pro → Settings → Audio Settings → Alarm Volume / Activation Delay / Duration
[!NOTE] The door-ajar alarm depends on the Lockin standard strike plate with door-status detection. If the strike plate is not installed or not aligned correctly, door-status detection may be inaccurate and the alarm may not trigger.
Incorrect entry alarm
When someone enters a wrong PIN, fingerprint, or palm scan, the lock emits a warning sound. This volume is adjustable separately from the lock prompt volume.
Path: Lockin Smart App → Devices → Select your Veno Pro → Settings → Audio Settings → Incorrect entry alarm volume
Lock language
You can change the spoken language the lock uses for voice prompts. The available languages depend on the current firmware and app version.
Path: Lockin Smart App → Devices → Select your Veno Pro → Settings → Audio Settings → Lock language
Which alerts are separate from the volume menu?
The current Veno Pro manual lists these as pre-configured or built-in functions rather than as ordinary volume controls:
| Sound | Behavior | Why it stays |
|---|---|---|
| Low-battery alert | “Low battery, please recharge” announcement plus three red LED flashes | Built-in low-battery warning; recharge or replace the battery promptly |
| Motor-jam alert | Continuous warning tone, red key icon flashing, plus “Failed to Open or Close the Door” announcement | Built-in motor-protection warning; inspect obstruction or door alignment |
| Wrong-try protection | “Too many attempts. Locked for 1 minute” announcement plus an app alert | A separate security-protection setting with its own attempt-limit controls |
Do not assume that changing Lock volume changes every warning or that choosing Mute disables every security-related sound. The manual separates these functions, but it does not promise a universal mute rule for every alert. After changing audio settings, perform a normal lock/unlock check and consult the current app/manual or Lockin support if a safety alert behaves differently than expected.
What about the welcome home message?
The Veno Pro Welcome Home Message feature lets you record a personalized greeting that plays when a family member unlocks the door. You can assign specific messages to specific family members, with support for up to three recorded messages.
This is a separate feature from the Audio Settings volume controls. The welcome message volume is independent of the lock prompt volume. If you have set up welcome messages and they are silent, check the welcome message settings directly rather than the Audio Settings menu.

One-touch locking confirmation beep
When you press the lock button on the keypad to lock the door from outside, the lock emits a confirmation beep and the status light turns solid white. This confirmation sound is controlled by the lock volume setting described above.
The one-touch locking feature itself is enabled or disabled separately:
Path: Lockin Smart App → Devices → Select your Veno Pro → Settings → Door Lock Settings → One-Touch Locking → Toggle on/off
Limits and conditions
- Model scope: The Audio Settings menu described here applies to Lockin Veno Pro. Other Lockin Veno models may have a different set of available controls. Check your specific model's manual.
- Firmware: Keep your lock's firmware up to date through the Lockin Smart app to ensure the latest audio settings and language options are available.
- Strike plate requirement: The door-ajar alarm depends on the Lockin standard strike plate with door-status detection. Without it, or if it is misaligned, the door-status reading may be inaccurate.
- Safety warnings: Low-battery, motor-jam, and wrong-try-lockout announcements are pre-configured safety features. They are not suppressed by lowering the lock prompt volume.
- Language availability: The available spoken languages depend on the current firmware and app version. Check the Audio Settings menu for the current list.
Next steps
- Open the Lockin Smart app and go to Settings → Audio Settings on your Veno Pro.
- Adjust the lock volume, doorbell volume, and alarm settings to your preference.
- Test the door-ajar alarm by opening the door and waiting for the configured delay.
- If you want personalized greetings, set up the Welcome Home Message feature separately.
- If sounds are not behaving as expected, check that your firmware is up to date, confirm the alert type, and verify that the strike plate is correctly installed for door-status detection.
That workflow gives you a practical starting point for smart lock volume settings without treating routine beeps, door-ajar alarms, and built-in safety alerts as the same control.
