A: Charging with Type-C Cable: Use a Type-C charging cable and a 5V 2A power adapter from your home. Remove the battery from the lock and connect it to the charger. When the battery’s status indicator light turns green, it means the battery is fully charged. Solar Charging Option: For a sustainable charging solution, you can purchase the official Lockin solar charging panel, ensuring worry-free and eco-friendly solar charging.
To manage or delete stored passwords, fingerprints, or palm vein data: Open the Lockin Smart App., Navigate to the Device Settings page by selecting your lock from the device list on the homepage., Enter the Permission Management section., Locate the specific password, fingerprint, or palm vein data you want to manage or delete, Follow the on-screen instructions to delete or update the selected entry Important Note: All biometric data (fingerprints and palm vein information) are stored locally on the device itself and are never uploaded to the cloud, ensuring your privacy and data security
A: To adjust the sound settings: Open the Lockin Smart App. Navigate to the Device Settings page by selecting your lock from the device list on the home screen. Go to the Sound Settings section. Choose the desired sound level: To turn off all sounds, select Mute. To enable normal sound levels, select Normal. Confirm your selection, and the lock's sound settings will be updated accordingly. This allows you to fully customize the sound settings for your lock as per your preference.

If you forget the password/palm vein/fingerprint, enter the last six digits of the SN under the battery (but this cannot be share for everyone)

This ensures peace of mind with both automatic and manual locking options.
A: The mechanical keyhole is located inside the doorbell button on the exterior assembly. You can use the two mechanical keys provided with the lock for physical unlocking, Please keep your mechanical keys in a secure place. We recommend storing one key as a backup in your car for emergencies.
A: Yes, the Lockin Video Smart Lock Veno Pro supports the Matter protocol, allowing seamless integration with your existing smart home ecosystem. You can connect the lock to a Matter-compatible hub to integrate with platforms such as Apple Home, Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings. Once connected, you can control the lock through a single app or via voice assistants for convenient remote locking and unlocking.

A: Make sure to stand in front of the door and position your palm directly in front of the sensor for detection. If the palm vein light does not wake up automatically, you can touch the keyboard panel with your hand to wake up the palm vein light. Then use the palm vein to unlock the keyboard.

A: If your app cannot connect to the lock, please check the following: Power Supply: Ensure that your lock has sufficient power. If the lock is powered, proceed to the next steps., Wi-Fi Network: Verify that your Wi-Fi router is operating on the 2.4GHz frequency band (the lock does not support 5GHz networks). If your network is dual-band, make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network during setup. Additionally, please make sure the 2.4GHz WiFi network SSID is not hidden and the security level is set to either WPA or WPA2;, Bluetooth Permissions: Ensure that your phone's Bluetooth is turned on and that the app has been granted Bluetooth permissions, as these are necessary for initial connection during setup., Make sure there are no obstacles around the WiFi Bridge and the distance between the Wi-Fi Bridge and the device does not exceed 30m, and try to move the Wi-Fi Bridge closer to the door lock to verify if the issue can be resolved., If you still can't connect to Wi-Fi, you can enable the cellular hotspot to allow your door lock to connect to the hotspot. Make sure the cellular hotspot is set to the 2.4GHz band;, Factory Reset: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, try restoring the lock to factory settings (Press and hold the reset button(under the battery): enter the password/palm vein/fingerprint to reset) and reconnect. By following these steps, your lock should connect to the app successfully.
A: 1.Make sure the app version is the latest version. 2.Check WIFI status. It needs to be 2.4GHz 3.Check if your home network bandwidth meets 40 Mbps. 4.Close the app backend and reopen it again If your app can connect to WIFI, you just can't check the camera. Normally there are wifi issues.
A: If the batteries of your Lockin Video Smart Lock Veno Pro are depleted, you can: Use an emergency power supply to temporarily power the lock through the Type-C port on the exterior assembly., Use the backup mechanical key to unlock the door. If you want to avoid running into this situation in the future, we recommend purchasing the Lockin official solar charging panel, which provides a sustainable and worry-free power solution for your lock.
A: When the battery level drops below 10%, the lock will prompt you to replace the battery. If you forget to change it and the battery dies, you can connect a power bank to the Type-C port at the bottom of the front panel for emergency power and unlock the door. Alternatively, you can use the mechanical key to unlock it through the back panel.
A: Before installation, please charge the lock for 6-8 hours to ensure it has sufficient power. Low Battery Indicator: When the lock's battery is low, the key button red light will flash, indicating that it needs to be recharged. For a smooth setup and operation, always ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
A:If the account password is entered incorrectly 5 times within 1 hour, the account will be locked for 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, you can change the password and log in again
A: We recommend installing our solar panel when the sun is directly shining on your lock during midday. Once the solar panel is installed and properly connected to the front panel via the Type-C port, you can open the Lockin Smart App and check the battery status on the Device → Setting page. You will see that the solar panel is charging the lock. Please note the following: 1.We suggest installing the Veno Pro-compatible solar panel when the sun is directly shining on the lock during midday., 2.Ensure that the solar panel is correctly connected to the front panel via the Type-C port., 3.The lock should be properly connected to the app and the WiFi connection should be stable, 4.Please do not remove the battery during solar charging, as it may prevent the battery from charging. However, it will return to normal within 24 hours (or you can unplug and replug the solar charging panel’s Type-C charging cable)., 5.If the battery level still has n't changed, remove and reinstall the app.
