Less charging starts with the light at your door.

Solar-assisted power can help replenish the battery when there is enough light. The result depends on your door’s location, shade, weather and daily use.

Look at the panel’s actual position
A bright yard does not guarantee enough light under a deep porch. Check whether the exterior panel is shaded by a roof, nearby wall or trees, and keep its surface clean.
Know when charging starts
On Veno Solar Palm and Veno Solar Face, solar charging activates when the battery is below 90% and light at the panel reaches at least 1,000 lux. The app shows a charging icon when the panel is actively charging.
Keep a charging plan for darker periods
Shorter days, shade and heavy use can reduce the benefit of solar charging. Monitor the battery in Lockin Smart and follow your model’s manual for wired charging when needed.

One solar family. Three ways to unlock.

Solar Face recognizes your face. Solar Palm reads your palm veins without touching the reader. Solar Finger uses fingerprint recognition. Choose the access method that suits your household.

The 90% / 1,000 lux rule above is specific to Solar Palm and Solar Face. Use Solar Finger’s own instructions for its charging and setup details.

Before you choose

Does solar power mean I will never need to charge?

No. Solar charging supplements the battery; available light and usage determine how much energy it provides. Keep checking the battery level and recharge when needed, especially during prolonged low-light periods.

Will it work on a shaded or covered entrance?

The lock can still use battery power, but solar charging may be limited. Solar Palm and Solar Face need at least 1,000 lux at the panel to begin harvesting energy. A deeply shaded entrance may require more frequent manual charging.

Which solar lock should I choose?

Start with your preferred unlock method: face recognition, palm vein recognition or fingerprint. Compare the models above, then check the installation guide for door compatibility before adding your preferred bundle to the cart.
