For Lockin Veno Solar Palm, Periodic, Duration and One-Time temporary codes are not available to retrieve after generation. If your Lockin guest code is not showing after you leave the generation screen, that matches the documented retrieval limitation for these types. For a forgotten Periodic or Duration code, Lockin’s manual directs you to delete the old code and generate a new one. One-time codes need a different check: an activated one-time code cannot be deleted. See the Solar user manual, pages 5–6 and Solar FAQ, page 20.
Start by identifying the code type. “Guest PIN” describes who will use it; the app’s code category determines what you can do next.
Lockin guest code not showing? Check the code type first
Veno Solar Palm supports different guest-code options so you can match access to a single visit, a recurring routine or a defined period. The recovery steps below apply to that model’s documented Lockin Smart app workflow.
| Code type | Can you retrieve the existing digits? | What to do if you did not save them |
|---|---|---|
| Periodic / recurring | No. The code is viewable once when generated. | Open the Periodic Password List, delete the forgotten entry and generate a replacement with the intended schedule. |
| Duration | No. The code is viewable once when generated. | Open the Duration Password List, delete the forgotten entry and generate a replacement with the intended validity period. |
| One-time | No. Copy it when generated. | Check its status before deciding on replacement. An activated one-time code cannot be deleted; creating another code does not establish that the first was canceled. |
These distinctions come from the Solar manual, pages 5–6, with the one-time deletion exception stated in the Solar FAQ, page 20.
Why the password list does not reveal the PIN again
The manuals describe a one-time display and a later management list. Being able to find or manage an entry does not mean you can reveal its original digits.
Lockin documents the limitation but does not explain its underlying technical cause in these instructions. There is no documented “show forgotten PIN” recovery step here. Do not assume that reinstalling the app or resetting the lock will recover the code.
Before changing anything, check whether you already saved the code securely or privately sent it to the intended guest. Finding that earlier copy is different from retrieving it from the app. It also does not confirm that the code is still valid.
Replace a forgotten Periodic or Duration code
Use the account that is authorized to manage the lock. If you are the guest, ask the host to handle these steps.
- Open the correct lock in the Lockin Smart app. Go to Devices → select your lock → Settings → Temporary Password, then select Periodic or Duration, matching the forgotten code.
- Open the matching password list. The manual places Periodic Password List or Duration Password List at the top right of the relevant screen. The setup FAQ calls this control History; follow the label shown for your code type.
- Identify and delete the forgotten entry. Check that you are changing the intended guest’s access, then follow the app’s deletion instructions. If you cannot identify the right entry or confirm deletion, stop and contact support.
- Generate a replacement. Set the intended recurring schedule or start/end period again. Do not assume a newly generated code inherits the old settings.
- Copy and securely save the new code before leaving the screen. Privately send it to the intended guest with its validity details, and clearly identify it as the replacement.
The management path is documented in the Solar FAQ, page 22; the delete-and-regenerate instructions are in the manual’s Periodic and Duration sections.
If you forgot a one-time code
Do not apply the Periodic or Duration deletion workflow to an activated one-time code. The Solar FAQ identifies One-Time → History → Delete/Modify as its management path, but explicitly says activated passwords cannot be deleted. A history entry is not proof that the original digits can be retrieved or that deletion is available for its current state. See the one-time-code instructions in the Solar FAQ.
If you cannot establish the old code’s status, or need to withdraw access, contact Lockin support before treating a replacement as cancellation. For a guest waiting at the door, arrange an authorized alternative with the host instead of guessing PINs.
Save the next code while it is visible
Before closing a newly generated code screen, copy the full PIN, save it somewhere private and confirm the intended recipient. Include the code type and access period when sharing it. Avoid posting an active PIN in a public comment or support screenshot.
For a Lockin guest code not showing again, the useful next step is to identify its type and follow the supported management route. If your screen differs, use the matching Lockin user manual or Lockin’s FAQ and support page. Tell support the model, code type, app version and what happened—without exposing the active PIN publicly.
This guidance follows the Veno Solar Palm / Veno Solar Face user manual, version 1.0, released May 27, 2026, and the accompanying Solar FAQ checked September 9, 2026. Check your exact model’s instructions before applying these steps to another Lockin lock.
