Can Two Phones Use the Same Lockin Smart Account? Household Access Checks

Use separate accounts if two people need to manage the same Lockin Veno Pro. Lockin’s FAQ says it does not allow multiple-device logins to the same account. The documented household-sharing route is to invite the second person’s own Lockin Smart account through Home Management. Lockin FAQ

Before sending that invitation, decide what the second person needs: control of the lock in the app, or simply a way to enter. A Home Management invitation gives broad co-management permissions. Someone who only needs to unlock the door should receive a suitable entry credential instead.

Two phones, one Veno Pro: choose the right access

What the other person needs Suitable approach What to understand first
Help manage the household lock Their own Lockin Smart account, invited through Home Management This includes extensive app control, not just unlocking.
Regular entry without managing the lock An authorized user credential through Manage Access Choose a supported PIN or enrolled biometric for that person.
Entry for a visit or limited stay A suitable temporary password Check its active period and use limits in the app.
The same account signed in on both phones Use the separate-account household invitation route Lockin’s FAQ does not permit multiple-device logins to one account.

For Lockin Veno Pro, these are distinct ways to share access. The manual separates household co-management from user credentials and temporary passwords. That lets you match the person’s access to the help they actually need. Veno Pro user manual, PDF pages 4–6

What an invited household co-manager can do

Veno Pro’s manual describes invited members as having broad co-management permissions, except for removing the lock. Veno Pro user manual, PDF page 4

The documented permissions include:

  • Remote unlocking through the app.
  • Managing access for lock users.
  • Generating temporary passwords for other people.
  • Viewing lock logs.

These permissions extend beyond adding a PIN for entry. Veno Pro FAQ and troubleshooting guide, PDF pages 22–23

How to invite the second Lockin Smart account

For a Veno Pro already added to your home, follow the documented Home Management sequence:

  1. Use the second person’s own Lockin Smart email address.
  2. Open the home selector. In the first person’s app, go to Devices and open the dropdown beside the home or family name.
  3. Open Home Management and select the household containing your Veno Pro.
  4. Choose Add New Member. Enter the second person’s email address and name, then select Invite.
  5. Accept on the second phone. Sign in with the invited email and accept. An unregistered recipient receives an account-creation invitation.

See the Veno Pro household-sharing instructions, PDF page 22. The user manual, PDF page 4 shows the Devices location.

Check the arrangement before relying on it

After the invitation is accepted, make these practical checks together:

  • Each phone is signed into the intended person’s own account.
  • The second person can select the intended home and see the correct Veno Pro.
  • Both people understand that the invitation includes management permissions and log access.
  • Anyone who only needs entry has an appropriate credential instead of a household-management invitation.

This is a verification checklist, not a guarantee that every remote feature is available in every connection state. If your app’s controls differ from the documented steps, use the current Veno Pro manual or contact Lockin support through the FAQ page before changing the lock’s setup.

If the second person only needs to enter

For regular entry, the Veno Pro manual directs you to Devices → Veno Pro → Settings → Manage Access → + to add a user and assign a supported credential. For a visit, choose a temporary password type that fits the visit’s duration or schedule.

A child, relative, or guest does not need to become a household co-manager merely to use an assigned entry method. If you choose palm-vein or fingerprint access, the manual requires a Bluetooth connection between the app and lock during enrollment. Veno Pro user manual, PDF pages 4–6

Does this mean a second login will sign out the first phone?

Lockin’s FAQ states the multiple-device login restriction, but it does not explain session timing or exactly what happens to the first phone. Do not rely on a shared login as the household-sharing method. This guide also does not establish a phone-replacement or account-transfer procedure. Lockin FAQ

For two people managing a Veno Pro, start with two personal accounts and one Home Management invitation. For someone who only needs entry, start with Manage Access or a suitable temporary password. Check the Veno Pro manual for the controls that match your lock.
